Behringer mix-sequencer module 1050
Legendary 2500 Series 8-Channel Mixer/Sequencer Module for Eurorack
Modular Synthesis
The first 2500 series synth modules came out in the '70s and tended to be extremely expensive. They were mainly all discrete transistor designs with some op-amps as at the time op-amps were high cost. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound and were used by artists like The Who, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and so many more, giving us some of the greatest records and film soundtracks we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better.
MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050
This is the Behringer 2500 series MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050. An authentic reproduction of the original “System 2500” circuitry from the ‘70s that can fit in a standard Eurorack case. The best part? It’s at a very affordable price. Integrate the MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050 into your existing rig or start your modular synth journey from here. Either way, you’re sure to have a lot of fun.
Sequencer or Mixer? You Decide.
The MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050 is a classic 8-channel mixer/sequencer. The 1050 allows you to rapidly select waveforms and signals via a conventional mixer format. Each audio input comes with its own attenuator knob and channel on/off buttons which you can use to mix and/or gate an input. Controlling and altering a sequence on the fly has never been so easy! The attenuator knobs are even color-coded into two groups of four channels which are tied to their respective master gain control. You can use the 1050 as an 8-input mixer with two adjustable outputs or as two separate 4-input mixers. When using the 1050 as a sequencer you can select between a single 8 step sequencer or a dual 4 step sequencers for ultimate flexibility.
Additional Controls
Soloing channels can be useful for previewing a signal. That’s why each channel in the 1050 has its own Exclusive-On button that turns on that channel’s signal while muting the rest, when using the 1050 as a dual 4 input mixer/counter the Exclusive-On buttons automatically split into 2 independent banks of 4. The clock pulse generator on the 1050 is switched on/off or manually stepped via a three-way switch. The speed of the sequence is then controlled by the Pulse Rate control knob. You can also determine the number of steps in a sequence before it repeats via the Counter rotary switch. The 1050 can also be connected and controlled by the CLOCKED SEQUENTIAL CONTROL MODULE 1027 or other compatible modules.
Eurorack Ready
Installing the 1050 is simple as it was designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply and mount the module using the included screws. This allows for the 1050 to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique set up.

Whether you’re just getting into modular synths or looking to complete your collection, the MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050 from Behringer is a great tool to have when creating amazing music.
