The driver complement includes an 8" low frequency driver with a low mass voice coil for improved transient response, and a high temperature 1" compression driver with copper clad aluminium voice coil for extended high frequency reproduction.
Equipped with a very efficient and lightweight two channel KLARK TEKNIK Class-D power amplifier, the iQ8 provides an impressive 2,500 Watts of output power. A high degree of control over the loudspeaker system’s performance is managed by a sophisticated, but easy to use KLARK TEKNIK Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which provides dynamic EQ for remarkable full range response at low volume levels, and transparent limiting for the utmost clarity at high output levels – and long-term reliability. iQ8’s advanced DSP speaker modelling presets include detailed and accurate models of some of the audio industry’s most-respected loudspeakers.
KLARK TEKNIK also developed a highly versatile Spatial Contour Control (SCC) DSP function, which allows the user to easily optimise the iQ8’s frequency response for the physical speaker placement. This advanced functionality provides frequency compensation for stand, floor, wall or ceiling placement, much like the adjustments commonly found on studio reference monitors.
On the rear panel amplifier module, you will find a fully featured user interface consisting of an LCD display, the Channel A and B gain controls, and a single rotary encoder for intuitive access to level, EQ, Speaker modelling, SCC, Subwoofer Integration and Feedback Control (FBI). In addition to the two combination balanced XLR/jack inputs, balanced XLR outputs for each of the two independent channels, and a Mix Out XLR connector, the iQ8 features a mic/line switch and level control with signal present LED on each channel.
The iQ8 also features our proprietary ULTRANET technology, which allows the use of CAT5 cables for transmitting pristine multi-channel audio signals and other information between ULTRANET-enabled products, such as digital mixers and personal monitor systems. This digital distribution networking not only eliminates the potential for RFI and crosstalk so common to analogue methods, but also significantly reduces the setup or installation time required. An onboard USB port provides access for remote control of the iQ8 via PC computer, as well as DSP and speaker modelling firmware updates.
The lightweight fibre glass reinforced composite enclosure is fitted with a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille and multiple internal rigging points for permanent installations. The iQ8 is also fitted with a dual angle pole mount socket, allowing the enclosure to be pole mounted straight on, or raised and angled downwards for optimal audience coverage. The iQ10 also features our proprietary ULTRANET technology, which allows the use of CAT5 cables for transmitting pristine multi-channel audio signals and other information between ULTRANET-enabled products, such as digital mixers and personal monitor systems. This digital distribution networking not only eliminates the potential for RFI and crosstalk so common to analogue methods, but also significantly reduces the setup or installation time required. Personal Monitoring with DP48
Midas HUB4 is the multi-tool in your stage rack providing analogue and digital outputs for various applications. HUB4 can supply up to four DP48 personal monitor mixers with PoE (Power over Ethernet) and 48 channels of 24-bit / 48 kHz audio. HUB4 also collects 48 channels of upstream audio and forwards this audio to the FOH console, either from stage boxes connected to the AES50-B (THRU) Port or 8 return channels from each of Ports 1-4.
Cascading Hubs for Large Setups
To meet the challenges of large monitoring setups, HUB4 can easily be daisy-chained to make additional DP48 ports available, all the way up to symphonic orchestra applications.
On the other hand, HUB4 can also address situations where you want to connect additional I/O via the same AES50 link to the mixing console. To help build out this AES50 console link, digital stage boxes such as the Midas DL16 or DL32 can be connected to the HUB4’s AES50-B (THRU) Port. The console can pass downstream signals to their respective stage outputs, while also receiving 48 channels upstream from the stage inputs via HUB4.
Analogue Outputs for IEM Transmitters
HUB4 features 16 balanced line-level outputs that can carry the 8 stereo mixes from the connected DP48 mixers for connections in the side rack. So there is no need to run additional lines from personal mixers to the transmitters, reducing setup time and reliability considerably. Alternatively, these analogue outputs can also be used as spare outputs on stage receiving signals directly from the FOH consoles, e.g. for providing talkback or side fill outputs.
Support from Midas M32 Series Consoles
HUB4 can convey control messages from M32 FOH consoles to DP48 personal mixers, as well as remote control messages between DP48 units.
Midas DL8 PoE (Power over Ethernet) Powered Stage Boxes
HUB4 easily interfaces with the new Midas DL8 stage box, which makes bulky analog sub-snakes a thing of the past. The DL8 stage box can be connected to one of HUB4 Ports 1-4 using only a simple CAT5E STP cable. This cable connection from HUB4 can directly power up to 4 stage boxes via PoE support – IEEE802.3at per port – allowing for shorter analogue lines on stage.
Remote Control Forwarding Through HUB4
HUB4 also facilitates one of the exceptional features of DP48 Personal Monitoring systems in which one DP48 unit can be designated as Master and used to control one or more DP48 units in Slave mode. HUB4 ensures that personal mixers are enumerated and that the Master, i.e., the DP48 connected to Port 1 of the first HUB4 in a daisy-chain, can control the respective Slaves. This way either a tech-savvy bandmate or the technician can help talents on stage with their personal monitor sound.
StageCONNECT – The Future of XLR
HUB4 also features a designated StageCONNECT port on the rear panel, anticipating the future of XLR connectivity.
What if any standard XLR, microphone or DMX cable could be used to transmit more than one channel of audio?
What if that cable could transmit signals not only one way, but bi-directionally?
What if that cable would allow the passage of control data or even MIDI at the same time?
What if a connected StageCONNECT device could receive up to 18 W of power through that same cable?

Sublimely Simple Operation
The front panel controls and indicators provide your system’s vital signs at a glance. After pressing the Power button, the Power LED lights to show the amp is ready for action. All channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present, as well as Limit LEDs to indicate when the amplifier is running at full capacity. Just as elegant as the front, the rear panel is home to the combo XLR and 1/4" TRS Input connectors, making the NX1000 compatible with virtually any source, balanced or unbalanced. Professional twist-lock speaker sockets are provided to ensure every drop of output power gets to your loudspeakers.
The rear panel is also where you’ll find the switches that enable the NX1000 amp to run in your choice of dual mono, stereo or mono bridge modes. The NX1000’s built-in Crossover switch sets the amp to Full-Range mode, where the output is sent unfiltered to your loudspeakers, or Bi-amp mode, which sends only the low-frequency content (<100 Hz) to passive subwoofers, while the high-frequency content (>100 Hz) is channeled to your full-range loudspeakers.
SmartSense Impedance Compensation
Our new SmartSense Technology puts the punch back into Class-D amplification, providing vastly improved full-range frequency response with more powerfully-dynamic bass, and smoother high-frequency reproduction. The DL16’s onboard ADAT Outputs enable splitting the high-quality Midas Pro Series preamp signals to outboard devices – including recording systems. When more channels are required, these optical sockets can alternately be used to connect ADAT-equipped D/A converters (such as the Behringer ADA8200) for up to 16 additional analogue outputs.
Dual AES50 Ports for Massive Connectivity
Connecting over a single shielded (STP) CAT5 cable, up to three DL16s can be daisy-chained to deliver 48 channels in and 24 out to the stage. The 2,200-Watt MILAN M15B is a powered portable band pass 15" subwoofer that is designed for maximum bass extension for both portable and permanent install applications. M15B’s discrete inputs are equipped with balanced, combination ¼ " jack/XLR connectors and a shared Level control, making them ideal for a wide range of music sources, from mixing consoles, low impedance microphones, guitars and keyboards.
Bandpass Enclosure Design
Bandpass enclosures are extremely efficient, creating maximum bass output within a specific frequency range by increasing the acoustic load presented to the driver. The M15B’s enclosure consists of solid birch plywood with a hard wearing semi matt black paint finish, and is ribbed internally to eliminate resonances and to minimize vibration. Plated steel castors with rubber tyres are provided for easy transport, and the standard pole-mount socket allows powered loudspeakers to be mounted, either vertically or raised higher and angled down to optimise audience coverage. Mains power is connected via a non-locking IEC socket with integrated fuseholder. Locking XLR Input

It is important to note that PM1's XLR input is not designed to accept balanced line signals taken directly from your mixer, as an amplified source is required. For connecting a stereo source, such as your headphone amplifier or mixer's headphone output, you should use a TRS-to-XLR (male to male) cable.
