MONITOR1
The MONITOR1 Premium Passive Stereo Monitor and Volume Controller takes the analog signal to the next level, putting high-resolution audio level control right at your fingertips. With no active circuitry or digital artifacts to color the sound, you can instantly adjust the level of your active studio monitors. The large volume knob makes it easy to dial-in the perfect level every time, without having to reach for your mixer – or your mouse! With XLR/TRS combo Inputs and XLR Outputs, as well as two 3.5 mm (1⁄8") jacks, MONITOR1 is ultra-easy to connect to your current system – and it is so affordable.
Passive Control?
Although it sounds contradictory, the MONITOR1 is totally passive, meaning external power is not required and there is no active circuitry to affect the purity of the analog signal coming from your mixer or audio interface. MONITOR1 doesn't get in the way of your sound source, and will not add any distortion or RF interference to your system. So whether you're recording in your bedroom or laying down tracks at a professional recording studio, MONITOR1 makes sure the volume is always exactly where you need it – when you need it. And when it's time for a break, just press the convenient Mute button to turn the sound completely off.
Sometimes Bigger is Better!
Small knobs make for low precision. Conversely, the bigger the knob is, the higher the precision. Think of a knob as a circle. On a small circle/knob, the distance from one degree to the next is very small, making it difficult to dial-in perfection. On MONITOR1's big knob, the distance between degrees of the circle is much larger, allowing you to make high-precision adjustments with ease. MONITOR1's bigger knob helps you set levels fast and accurately.
Connections Matter
MONITOR1 takes up a fraction of the space on your desk as your mixer, and thanks to its tiny footprint it's never in the way. But even though it is small, MONITOR1 is all about quality, all the way from the stereo XLR/TRS combo and 1⁄8" Inputs to the XLR and 1⁄8" Outputs.
Sound Quality and Value
We designed the MONITOR1 to provide many years of super-clean, high-fidelity performance in the most critical listening environment – yours! Built from the highest-grade components, MONITOR1 is the perfect way to put a little easy into your current studio monitoring setup.

DN100
The DN100 has become an established favourite amongst both engineers and musicians alike. With its high headroom, dynamic response and sonic clarity, DN100 faithfully reproduces the character of electric and acoustic instruments and allows far more of the detail of musical performances to be captured. DN100 is intended for professional applications where +48 V phantom power is a standard feature on all mixing consoles, and its innovative design results in a significantly higher clipping point than many other active DI Boxes, providing +10 dBu output into a 2 kΩ load. This increased headroom means that much higher-level input signals can be accommodated without the need for an attenuating pad. Combined with a very low noise input circuit topology, DN100 offers a very wide dynamic range, and only requires a single -30 dB pad for use when connecting directly to instrument amplifier outputs.
DN100 is built to handle the rigours of life on the road, a thick aluminium extrusion protects the electronics, and in turn is covered by a tough silicone rubber sleeve.
Balanced Transformer-Isolated Output
Exhaustive listening tests using a wide variety of active and passive bass guitars, electro-acoustic guitars and electronic musical instruments were carried out to select the components for DN100 to achieve the best musical sound. Not only was the choice of the audio transformer particularly important in achieving this goal, but the impedances of the surrounding components were also highly critical in getting the best possible performance out of the audio transformer. The line-driving characteristics of the transformer output were carefully optimised to provide the best frequency and phase responses for short and long cables and widely differing line and termination impedances.
Care was taken in the design of the DN100 to avoid audio transformer core saturation and a fixed high pass filter has been included in the signal path to roll off frequencies below those that are musically important. The lowest note on a 5- or 6-string bass guitar is B0 with a frequency of 30.87 Hz, and the lowest note on an 88-key piano keyboard is A0 with a frequency of 27.50 Hz. DN100 still maintains a frequency response of ±0.5 dB at these lowest musical notes.
As well as the transformer in the signal path, DN100 also has a transformer to isolate the power rails to the input circuit from the phantom power supply sourced from the output XLR connector. When used in conjunction with the Earth Lift switch, this full galvanic isolation of input and output interfaces ensures that any risk of earth loops is avoided when taking a direct feed from stage backline equipment.
Dual-Impedance Inputs
A custom instrumentation-grade input circuit was designed for the DN100 using advanced analogue design techniques to create the very high input impedance required by passive guitar and bass pickups, whilst keeping the actual component values low to minimise noise. This innovative approach to circuit design produces a very low noise floor, which combined with the high clipping point creates an unrivalled dynamic range in a +48 V phantom powered DI Box.
DN100 features one parallel-connected XLR and two ¼" TRS inputs, one which may also be used a link output for connection to a guitar or bass amplifier. When connecting to the XLR input only, the input impedance is 20 kΩ, ideal for line level equipment and offering even lower noise performance. This input impedance is far too low for guitar and bass pickups and is removed from the circuit when a jack plug is inserted into a ¼" TRS input, resulting in a nominal 1 MΩ input impedance, ideal for passive electric pickups.
Illuminated 30dB Pad and Earth Lift Switches
DN100 features illuminated Pad and Earth Lift switches, which along with the +48V phantom power indicator LED, provide ‘at a glance’ status display, even at wide distances and viewing angles.
The Earth Lift switch separates the input and output grounds, useful in eliminating earth loops between equipment on different mains electricity supplies.
Built for the Road
Featuring a tough aluminium extrusion, the DN100 is designed for the rigours of live concert touring. The protective rubber corners also insulate the DN100 chassis to further enhance its electrical isolation. Premium Neutrik XLR connectors are used to ensure reliable audio connections, night after night.

Ever since our formation in the 1970s, we have had a long history of innovation and leadership in the world of audio mixing consoles. Employed by the most famous touring acts and installations worldwide, our XL4 and Heritage H3000 consoles quickly became industry standards.
ULTRANET – Seamless Integration
The world-renowned engineers at Klark Teknik, Midas, Turbosound and Behringer have all come together to create something truly innovative that will change live and studio workflow forever – ULTRANET. This revolutionary technology seamlessly transmits up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data via a single CAT5 cable between compatible digital devices – including mixers, I/O stage boxes, powered loudspeakers and personal monitoring systems.
ADAT-Ready
Many manufacturers have adopted the ADAT digital interface as a means of transferring digital data between certain types of audio devices, such as mixers, synthesizers, lighting rigs and effect processors. The DL16’s onboard ADAT Outputs enable splitting the high-quality Midas Pro Series preamp signals to outboard devices – including recording systems. When more channels are required, these optical sockets can alternately be used to connect ADAT-equipped D/A converters (such as the Behringer ADA8200) for up to 16 additional analogue outputs.
Dual AES50 Ports for Massive Connectivity
Connecting over a single shielded (STP) CAT5 cable, up to three DL16s can be daisy-chained to deliver 48 channels in and 24 out to the stage. KLARK TEKNIK’s AES50 simultaneously provides high channel counts, extremely low and deterministic latencies, accurate phase-aligned networked clock distribution, error detection, network redundancy, with simple deployment and ease of use to meet the needs of the live performance industry.
Remotely Controllable Preamps Make Setup a Breeze
DL16’s ingenious monitoring/head amp control section allows you to select any of the 16 inputs, 8 bus outputs or P-16 output streams for immediate line checks. In addition to signal metering at the stage box, you can also set individual input channel Gain, apply +48 V phantom power – and listen directly to the input signal via headphones and much more.
Assignable Headphones Output for On-Stage Monitoring
For easy set up and signal routing verification, a headphones jack is conveniently located on the front of the DL16, giving you the option of listening directly to any of the 16 inputs.
MIDI In/Out
Using scene automation has never been simpler or more convenient. The automation scenes allow MIDI events to be incorporated, so that external MIDI-compatible devices can be controlled as part of a scene change via your console’s MIDI output. Additionally, console events can be triggered from an external MIDI source via your console’s MIDI input
Unparalleled Performance
As you can see, the DL16 digital stage box is the ideal 16 x 8 signal distribution solution thanks to our legendary remote controllable mic preamps, Klark Teknik’s AES50 connectivity and a wealth of other professional-grade features. Built tough enough to withstand the rigors of the road, the DL16 only takes up two rack spaces and connects to FOH with a single, inexpensive CAT5 cable.

Midas DN4888 8-Channel Digital Stage BoxBus-Powered Stage CONNECT Interface with 8x8 Analog In/Out and Dual Ultranet Outputs
DN4888
The DN4888 is the perfect solution for connecting additional equipment to your monitor or FOH console. It provides 8 additional analogues in and outputs to enable for 8 analogue inserts or the connection to wireless devices, like 8 wireless microphones and 8 wireless in-ear systems.
The Stage Connect interface can be connected to other Stage Connect devices using a single XLR cable for multi-channel audio transmission. There are various I/O options available providing easily scalable connectivity in your side rack. The devices of the DN48XX Series can be daisy-chained and will negotiate the channels for their respective connectivity automatically.
Stage Connect – The Future of XLR
What if any standard XLR or DMX cable could be used to transmit more than one channel of audio?
What if that cable could transmit signals not only one way, but bi-directionally?
What if that cable would allow the passage of control data or even MIDI at the same time?
What if a connected Stage Connect device could receive up to 18 W of power through that same cable?
Well, these capabilities are exactly what Stage Connect delivers – a new interface standard to be released by Music Tribe after two years of development. The Midas DN48XX Series is one of the first available I/O-Interfaces based on the Stage Connect-Standard. This new standard comes with outstanding technical specs: 32 channels of uncompressed PCM audio in various I/O configurations, 24-bit at 48 kHz, below 0.05 ms of latency.
For optimum performance and long cable runs 110 Ohm DMX cable is required.
Ecosystem and Beyond
The DN48XX Series is the first generation of I/O Interfaces for the new Stage Connect ecosystem. Stage Connect was introduced with the Behringer WING mixing console. Even though the DN48XX Series was designed with the WING console in mind the devices can be used with all Stage Connect devices like HUB4. The Stage Connect Ecosystem opens a wide field of audio devices. May it be several I/O devices spread over the Stage or equipment in the side rack - the use cases for the DN48XX Series Stage Connect Interfaces are virtually endless.
Cascade Interfaces to Meet Your Requirements
No matter if you want to use Stage Connect for connecting wireless systems, external effects or playback systems, the devices of the DN48XX series can easily be daisy-chained to meet the requirements of your respective I/O configurations. With a total bandwidth of 32 channels, all combinations ranging from 32 inputs over 16 in and outputs in parallel to 32 outputs can be achieved using different combinations of DN48XX interfaces connected using a simple XLR cable.
Power via DC or Stage Connect
The DN48XX Series devices can be powered via DC or via Stage Connect. By design, every SC Master provides 18W of power that can be used by devices in the chain. Depending on the respective power consumption multiple devices in the chain can be phantom powered by a single Master device. It should be noted that an SC device in the chain that is supplied with DC power can supply other devices connected to its Master Port as well. To check your respective setup for power consumption, use the Stage Connect Calculator (SSC Tool). This tool checks a virtually configured chain for the DMX cable lengths, power supply, audio routing and other parameters.
Automatic Bus Configuration
There are two ways to configure an SC Chain. Either you can manually configure the chain using devices like WING or let the Automatic Bus Configuration do its work. This process adapts the input and output configuration of the SC Bus depending on the connected devices. Simply connect devices and the Master device of the chain will automatically change the routing. To check and plan setups, the SSC Tool software is available, providing information about the routing and DMX cable length, power management and other parameters.
Analogue I/O for External Effects
The DN4888 features 8 balanced line-level in and outputs that can feed external FX processors. All you need to do is mount the DN4888 to your effect rack and connect it to your Console using a single XLR cable. This way you can save local outputs, reduce setup time and increase reliability considerably. Alternatively, these connections can be used for wireless transmitters and receivers or any other application requiring additional analog in and outputs.
ULTRANET – Seamless Integration
The well-established ultranet technology transmits up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio via a single CAT5 cable between compatible digital devices. The DN48XX Series devices serve Ultranet connectivity for translation between Stage Connect and Ultranet. This way more than 1 million Ultranet products in the market like the P16 monitoring system, AIR mixers and Turbosound speakers can be integrated in the Stage Connect ecosystem.
Stage Connect Calculator
The Stage Connect Calculator is a tool that can be used for checking and planning setups. You can create a virtual SC chain to study the upstream and downstream routing. The calculator also indicates parameters maximum DMX cable lengths, power budget and the overall stability of your connection.
You can virtually change the configuration of individual devices, change their order and intuitively add or remove devices from the chain. This allows you to explore the possibilities of routing signals through the new ecosystem.
