Behringer X-TOUCH COMPACT Universal USB/MIDI Control Surface

Behringer X-TOUCH COMPACT Universal USB/MIDI Control Surface

The Behringer X-TOUCH COMPACT is a hands-on control surface for music production, mixing and other digital audio workflows. It provides physical controls for compatible digital audio workstations (DAWs) and MIDI applications, helping users adjust parameters without relying entirely on a mouse and keyboard. Its compact format makes it suitable for home studios, production desks and recording environments where accessible controls are important.

The controller features nine motorised 100 mm faders and 16 rotary encoders, together with transport and function buttons. Motorised faders can provide physical feedback when working with supported software, while the encoders offer additional parameter control. USB/MIDI connectivity and support for Mackie Control and HUI workflows are listed in the existing product information; specific software compatibility should be checked before purchase.

For producers, audio engineers and creators working with compatible recording software, the X-TOUCH COMPACT offers a practical way to manage mixing and editing functions. Its dual-layer control arrangement can also help organise different assignments for a production workflow. The device is a controller, not a standalone audio mixer or audio interface.
