FTS MKIV Double Wooden Bass Bin 2000W [FTS218]

FTS Double 18-Inch 4000W Peak Professional Bassbin MKIV

The FTS Double 18-Inch Professional Bassbin MKIV is a high-powered passive bass speaker cabinet designed for professional sound reinforcement applications. Featuring two 18-inch low-frequency drivers and a combined peak power rating of 4000W, this bassbin is designed to reproduce powerful low-frequency sound for demanding audio environments. It is suitable for professional DJs, sound system operators, event production companies and audio installations requiring dedicated bass reinforcement. As part of the FTS professional audio range, the MKIV combines a dual-driver configuration with specifications intended for use in larger sound systems.

The FTS-218 MKIV features the updated FTS-XT-1000 drivers, providing a dedicated low-frequency speaker configuration for professional audio applications. Its passive design allows integration with a compatible external power amplifier, making it suitable for systems where amplification and audio processing are managed separately. The dual 18-inch configuration provides a large combined driver area for reproducing bass frequencies, while the specified frequency range supports its role as a dedicated low-frequency cabinet. With a rated sensitivity of 102 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, the FTS-218 MKIV provides useful technical specifications for selecting compatible amplification and planning a professional sound system.
