Hybrid CX223 2-Way Stereo / 3-Way Mono Active Crossover

The Hybrid CX223 is a versatile active crossover designed for 2-way stereo and 3-way mono sound system configurations. It is particularly suited to active audio systems using separate sub-bass and mid-top cabinets, allowing frequencies to be divided and directed to the appropriate outputs. The CX223 also provides a dedicated mono subwoofer output, making it suitable for systems that require a summed bass signal alongside the main low, mid or high-frequency outputs. With crossover frequency control from 45Hz to 9600Hz on Channels 1 and 2, it provides flexible frequency management for different professional audio setups.

The CX223 features comprehensive front-panel controls that make system configuration and level adjustment straightforward. These include two input gain controls, crossover frequency controls, a dedicated subwoofer frequency control and five output gain controls. Output phase invert and a 40Hz input low-cut function provide additional control when configuring the system. Front-panel LED indicators clearly display low-cut, phase invert, mono/stereo and frequency ×10 status. XLR female inputs and XLR male outputs provide connections for compatible professional audio equipment, while rear-panel switches allow selection between mono and stereo operation and activation of the frequency ×10 function.
