Product details

Hybrid+ X218S Dual 18-Inch Passive Subwoofer 2,000 W RMS

The Hybrid+ X218S is a high-output passive subwoofer designed to provide dedicated low-frequency reinforcement in professional sound systems. It uses two 18-inch Celto Acoustique low-frequency drivers and offers a stated power-handling capacity of 2,000 W RMS at a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Its dual-driver configuration is suited to DJs, live bands, churches, clubs, venues and rental operators requiring a large-format sub-bass enclosure for a suitably matched audio system.

As a passive subwoofer, the X218S requires a separate power amplifier with compatible output and impedance specifications. Its omnidirectional low-frequency coverage supports use as part of appropriately designed indoor or outdoor event systems. The professional cabinet has a textured black finish, a protective steel front grille and integrated carrying handles. Speaker input and link connections support integration with compatible equipment, although their exact connector type has not been specified. Outdoor use requires appropriate protection because no weather-resistance rating has been provided.
